1. UHMWPE UD Fabric/Aramid Production Line Introduction

Our Ud Production Line is a fully integrated system engineered for the continuous manufacturing of Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE)/aramid unidirectional prepreg. This turnkey solution covers the entire process from fiber impregnation to finished roll fabric, delivering high-strength, lightweight ballistic composites with precise resin control and uniform fiber alignment.

Designed for bulletproof vests, helmets, blast-resistant plates, armor, marine, and industrial applications, the line features modular components including Impregnation & Lamination Unit, sheet Cutter, Cross-Ply Laminator, Edge Trimmer, and Inspection Machine.

3. Whole production Line Main Process

Fiber unwinding Creel + Impregnation Unit: UHMWPE fibers/Aramid fibers are tension-controlled and fully impregnated with adhesive resin and laminated with protective PE film. Fibers are formed into unidirectional (0°) prepreg sheets with precise resin content.

Sheet Cutter: UD rolls are slit into specified widths for cross-ply lamination.

0°/90° Lamination:Two UD layers are laminated orthogonally to be 2UD fabric by orthogonal laminating machine.

4UD fabric: two layers of 2UD fabric are stacked and pressed laminating into 4UD or multi-layer panels.

Edge Trimming: Finished UD fabrics are trimmed to exact width with clean edges.

Inspection & Winding: Final inspection under light source, defect marking, and automatic rewinding.
